Ashley Franklin is an educator and author-mom who is committed to capturing moments of joy in the lives of Black and Muslim children. Ashley received her M.A. from the University of Delaware in English Literature.
Her debut picture book, NOT QUITE SNOW WHITE, came out in 2019 from Harper Collins, and has been followed by a sequel BETTER TOGETHER CINDERELLA. She is also the author of THE MASJID KAMAL LOVES forthcoming from Salaam Reads and upcoming projects from Disney and Innovation Press.
