Your Instructor
Betsy Bird is the children's collection development manager at the Evanston, IL Public Library. Prior to that, she served as the youth materials specialist at the New York Public Library. She is the author of the popular School Library Journal Blog, Fuse #8, where she reviews children's books.
Betsy is also the author of the picture book, Giant Dance Party (Greenwillow), a co-author of the book, Wild Things: Acts of Mischief in Children's Literature (Candlewick), and the editor of Funny Girl: Funniest. Stories. Ever. (Puffin)
